I was all set to order it through Amazon but at a $75.00 savings...well, no big decision. I mention this so that you will realize my initial mindset is more positive. It came assembled, all I had to do was release the pedals from the hand grip position, find the button, squeeze it and adjust the pedal. Don't forget to use the included anti-slip carpet mat - not that it keeps it from slipping but it helps.
Yes, the cord for the on/off and speed assisted control is short and tight. My husband has PD and is the reason for the purchase. He mentioned this morning that the controller coiled cord was too short, so I stretched the cord - firmly holding one end and slowly pulling my other hand down the coil. That provided enough length for him to rest the control across one leg without the cycling action pitching it to the floor.
I don't look forward to having to lift this unit to his desktop... Read more
