The computer for this machine needs AA batteries -2. The computer only turns on when you start moving on the machine and auto shuts down after about 30-60 seconds of inactivity.
I've not played around with the modes or features - I prefer just plain freestyle - but I do wish I could keep the stats from cycling, so I can just keep it on distance covered or one of the other read outs. The best I can do is make it cycle faster when I want to know how far I've gone and how long I've been on.
This has different resistances - 1 through 8.
I would not use this barefoot or with slippers! Your foot naturally wants to slide forward and you can hurt your toes.
I keep a pair of slip on walking shoes next to the machine, so I can use it whenever I want throughout the day.
I call this machine the hell machine -hehe- ellipticals always kicked my butt, so this is the perfect machine to help me get... Read more
